LyricShift ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website lyricshift.online (the "Service"). We provide an AI-powered tool that phonetically rewrites song lyrics so they sound identical when spoken or sung but are spelled differently, enabling users to create copyright-safe content for AI song-cover tools.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your session, and understand how the Service is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly without them.
This Service uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
To respell your lyrics, we send the text you submit to an AI language model operated by our infrastructure provider. The submitted lyrics and the generated output are processed to deliver the Service and are saved only when you choose to store them in your Library.
Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment provider (Wix). We do not collect or store your full card details. When you start a subscription, the provider collects your payment method, email, name, and billing address directly on their secure checkout page. We receive only a confirmation of the transaction and your subscription status so we can grant access.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service — such as our AI provider, our payment provider, our advertising partner (Google AdSense), and our hosting platform — each acting under their own privacy and data-handling commitments. We may disclose information where required by law.
We retain your account and Library content for as long as your account is active. Free-tier usage counters reset periodically. You may delete individual saved transformations from your Library at any time, or request deletion of your account.
Depending on your location (for example, under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain data processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
The Service is available globally. If you access the Service from outside the United Kingdom, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers in accordance with this policy.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have any questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal data, please contact us at: privacy@lyricshift.online.
